Located at Bloomington Rd. and Highway 404, the Bloomington Go Station extends the Richmond Hill Line and provides York region commuters with more options to travel the GTA. The Bloomington Go station offers 3 levels of parking, designated pick up and drop off areas, a 12-car train platform with a snowmelt system, a 6-bay bus loop, scooter and bicycle parking and heated shelters on the platform.

IBI Group designed the station with environmental wellbeing and sustainability top-of-mind, in order to achieve LEED Gold certification. This includes solar panels on the roof to generate electricity, low-energy LEDs as lighting, a stormwater management system incorporated into the building, a specialized underground crossing for frogs to commute from the onsite pond to neighboring wetlands, and a parking lot created with Unilock Eco-Optiloc™ pavers. Eco-Optiloc is a high- performance paver, accepted as a tool in creating an environmental solution for stormwater runoff. It’s innovative L-shaped design provides the ability to withstand heavier loads and the small voids created between the pavers allow for drainage. Waiting areas, bus bays and entrances utilize Umbriano® and Series™ pavers which offer contrasting sizes, textures and colors to create patterns that distinguish between walking and waiting areas.
