Lothrop Hall is a major student dormitory at the University of Pittsburgh’s main campus in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The unique residence facility previously known as the Nurses’ Residence, now serves as a home-away-from-home to more than 700+ students. Featuring a variety of amenities, including a fitness centre and skywalk connecting the building with the School of Nursing, the residence also offers a landscaped, green roof deck for lounging and relaxation between classes. The designers, Pasheck + MTR, used a combination of Unilock Artline Platform and Plank with Smooth Premier finish for this outdoor space, creating a welcoming and relaxed paving design. Using EnduraColor facemix technology, the Smooth Premier finish delivers a long-lasting, colorfast, contemporary texture, while Artline Platform offers durability, making it ideal for roof deck applications. As a result, the vibrant space adds to the student living experience, and reflects the university’s commitment to creating engaging student facilities.
