A corporate campus, located an hour north of the City of Chicago, created a 650 foot long double sided wall using the U-Cara Multi-Face Wall System. The wall has two-tiers, each four feet in height and planted full of perennials, shrubs and even trees on the top level. The wall was designed to provide privacy and security enhancement between the main parking lot area and a busy four-lane, regional roadway.
U-Cara is a two component system consisting of a structural base and decorative, interchangeable fascia panels. In this design of this wall, large backer blocks were used for the base and further reinforced with geogrid for structural stability. Meanwhile, the chosen fascia panels in a smooth premier finish and warm color palette bring a contemporary look and welcoming feel to the campus.
