500 Totten Pond Road at CityPoint is the first major mixed-use office and retail development project built in the Boston suburbs. It combines sought after restaurant and retail options, high-performance workspace and a highly visible location to create a perfect fit for its tenants. An inviting carefully arranged entrance accommodates employees and delivery trucks with light bollards that define and illuminate the different spaces. Alongside the laneway is a programmable outdoor plaza that provides tenants and visitors with an additional amenity. Raised granite planters and the paving design help differentiate pedestrian and vehicular spaces and bring green to the building’s entrance.

Two contrasting colors of Umbriano® form the alternating row patterning that defines vehicular laneways. A third color is added in the sidewalks and plaza to create a unique geometric design that differentiates pedestrian areas. In addition to the utilitarian use of the three paver colors, the contrasting light and dark shades of Umbriano® mimic the façade of the buildings to unify the architecture and landscape design.

While the look of Umbriano® fulfills the aesthetic needs, the built-in technologies ensure the functional life of this beautiful commercial space. Umbriano® features; EnduraColor™ for increased durability and wear-resistance, EasyClean™ for integral surface protection from stains and ColorFusion™ that disperses the rich color and granite particles for a natural granite appearance. Combined, these technologies ensure endurance for this high traffic commercial space.
