Separating pedestrian and vehicular /service access a new major east-west tree linked pedestrian walkway connects the library and new plaza at the Peace and Dove sculpture. The walkway consists of permeable pavers and CU-based structural soil was used to set a precedent in promoting tree health along the sidewalk. A plaza was developed around the sculpture in the center of the quad creating a gathering/social zone.
