After more than 25 years without renovation, the Needham police and fire stations were overdue for an upgrade. A unified public safety and fire sub-station were constructed to cater to the specific needs of each department.

The building enhancements were complemented by the installation of Unilock pavers, which added to the exterior’s visual appeal. The project featured Eco-Priora™ pavers in sizes of 5×5, 5×10, and 10×10, manufactured with an Umbriano® finish. These pavers were strategically arranged around the exterior of the building, forming two distinct walkways leading to the main entrance. Furthermore, Town Hall® pavers were employed to clearly designate seating areas and to encircle an on-site memorial. The uniquely mottled surface of Umbriano creates a beautiful contrast with the dark color and traditional style of Town Hall.

Not only does the project illuminate the building and create an inviting atmosphere, but it also ensures functionality and longevity through the use of a permeable paving system.
