SUNY Cortland Tennis Courts is located next to the college’s Student Life Center, the campus recreation and sports complex. The LA Group (as HMH Site & Sports Design) engaged with SUNY Cortland to upgrade their athletic fields and courts. Specifically, the project included new tennis and basketball courts and replacement of the famous Red Field at Chugger Davis Stadium under an accelerated deadline before the New York Jets’ training camp. They designed the walkways for the convenient pedestrian circulation at the sport complex area. The permeable walkways were paved with Town Hall and Eco-Priora between the tennis courts, recreation zones and the sport complex building creating a beautiful connection between spaces.
