BrewDog, a brewery and pub chain originating from Ellon, Scotland, has since expanded its presence across the United States, including its newest outpost in Cleveland, OH. This new location offers guests a welcoming environment with picturesque river views, fire pits and outdoor games, creating a memorable experience for guests.
The collaboration between DERU Landscape Architecture and Unilock resulted in a stunning design that enhances the overall ambiance of the new BrewDog location. The choice of Unilock Courtstone® in Basalt establishes a striking contrast against the building’s white exterior while seamlessly blending with the black framing, resulting in a timeless and sophisticated design. To enclose the building’s exterior with greenery, Unilock U-Cara® forms garden walls. The U-Cara® Pitched Fascia panels in Granite Fusion were carefully selected to complement the architecture and chosen pavers, achieving a natural and cohesive appearance. Topped with Unilock Universal Coping for a polished look.
Unilock Courtstone® stands out for its technologies, incorporating both Ultima™ and Reala™ technology that impact authentic texture and impressive strength. The Ultima™ technology ensures the pavers are up to four times the strength of poured concrete, guaranteeing their durability. Meanwhile, the Reala™ technology replicates the texture of natural cobblestone surfaces, while allowing for efficient installation and a visually stunning result.
Unilock U-Cara® Pitched Fascia panels boast EnduraColor™ technology. This technology employs a base of coarser aggregates topped with concentrated color and wear-resistant finer aggregates, ensuring long-lasting color that protects the surface from the appearance of fading over time.
The overall design strategy employs a harmonious blend of multiple colors and finishes, thoughtfully chosen to complement the existing architecture. The result is a welcoming and timeless environment that enhances the Brewery’s appearance, providing visitors with an elevated and memorable experience.
