Located on the north shore of lake Mendota, Bishops Bay Country Club is a family-focused upscale club in the Madison area of Middleton. Originally designed in 1929, the Bishop Manor now serves as the private golf course and clubhouse, featuring a plethora of amenities for athletic, dining and social events. As part of a recent renovation of the historic clubhouse, a new event and dining hall project also included extensive exterior landscaping. The 4,000 square foot patio was refreshed with new seating features, a full bar pavilion, and fire pits, all complemented by the stunning views of the Capitol and downtown Madison Skyline. The designer, Olson Toon, used ThornburyTM in Bavarian Blend for the courtyard surface, while Town Hall® was chosen to create the intricate border accents. The paver design adds to the timeworn, historical appearance of the lakeside patio, and harmonizes with the aged brick façade and surrounding natural environment.
