Lillian Park is a modern rental apartment in Midtown Toronto that offers a premium residential experience comparable to condo living. This development is comprised of two towers on a parklike setting, providing renters with the opportunity to connect with nature in their otherwise fast-paced urban environment. Lillian Park prioritizes quality of life through their onsite amenities like an indoor pool, fitness and yoga center, theatre room, rooftop BBQ, outdoor park space and more.
The outdoor park includes plenty of green space for both residents and visitors to gather, socialize and exercise or to simply enjoy being outside. Paved pedestrian pathways wind through the lush grass fields and connect users to the building entrances and the neighbouring streets. This fluid and curved paving design matches the color palette of the development while balancing the linear, contemporary look and feel of the building facades. The designers used Eco-Promenade pavers with Umbriano finish in Grenada White to achieve their vision and to create a sustainable solution for this park space. Eco-Promenade is a permeable paver that that has the ability reduce or eliminate the negative effects of stormwater runoff while bringing a modern feel to any design.
Lillian Park also features a drive area and drop-off space that leads to the apartment’s underground and guest parking. Being capable of handling heavy-duty loads, Eco-Promenade was carried into this area to synchronize the pedestrian and vehicular spaces. However, to provide delineation a dark contrasting color was used in areas that are oriented towards car and truck traffic.
