The New York Botanical Garden is an urban wonderland, featuring extensive plant collections, forests and waterfalls, as well as multiple historic attractions across 250-acres of lush, green landscapes. Bringing over one million visitors per year, the garden’s pathways need to be capable of withstanding high pedestrian traffic all year round. The Garden used City Park Paver^TM with Series^TM finish for the paved entrance, as the unique hexagon paver shape adds to the urban feel, creating a visually striking plaza just outside the site. The pavers were installed in a permeable application, reducing storm water runoff and reflecting the Garden’s commitment to green infrastructure and sustainable design solutions.
