Diamond park is the heart and soul downtown core of the historic Ligonier Valley. Revitalization of this park was essential to encourage increased usage of the park by creating a safer experience for pedestrians and vehicles. Updates included the restoration of the copper-domed gazebo, dimmable lamp posts, a walkway snow-melt system and new concrete brick pavers. Final touches include refreshed plantings and trees and semi-circle seating areas to promote social interaction.
The designers of this project were tasked with selecting paving materials that reflected the history and charm of this towns focal point. Town Hall® pavers in three colors were expertly placed in a herringbone pattern along the walkways of Diamond park and the surrounding shops. Manufactured with Reala™, Ultima™ and EnduraColor™ Technologies, Town Hall® offers superior durability and authentic appeal. The refined surface of these pavers maintains a time-worn appearance, creating a vintage streetscape charm that stands the test of time.
Surrounded by beautiful historic buildings, the picturesque park is a regenerated and inviting community gathering space for festivals, concerts and other programmable activities.
