The Port of Rochester built a brand-new Marina to capitalize on their natural assets – the lake and the beaches. The marina is the beginning of a multi-phase development that includes a hotel, condominiums, townhouses and additional restaurants and shops. A public promenade encircles the perimeter of the basin and the Port Terminal Building adjacent to the marina. Access to the terminal off Corrigan Street was extended with a drop-off loop. The loop was paved with Eco-Optiloc pavers in grey and natural, with additional parking areas behind the terminal, portside. The marina now offers seasonal and transient boat slips with modern amenities for easy access to Lake Ontario.
