A new respite area for patients, visitors and staff located just outside the main entrance of Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital is Maria’s Garden. This fanciful garden features a life-size check board, continuous hop-scotch game, canvas shade structures and a bronze sculpture of the 13-year-old Maria Fareri. The pathways connecting the games and rest areas use a variety of products with different textures and colors to marry into the whimsical theme; Umbriano™ in three different colors and Artline™ Il Campo in Granite Blend.
